British obesity

Over half the UK population will be obese by 2050, or 2040 if you read the London Metro, at an annual cost of roughly 50 billion pounds or just over 14 billion Big Mac meals. That’s about 218 each per year. No wonder we ‘go large’.
Surely we don’t eat that many, so wouldn’t it be more efficient if the Government just paid Ronald McD, say, 40 billion pounds? That’s the equivalent of 180 meals each per year, so one every couple of days. It saves Ronald doing all that cooking, and we end up with a healthier Britain.
And instead of spending our money on junk food, we can put it into fixed odds gambling machines.
